billyjef
What would be the best line to make 6 Hearts after a lead of the club ten from west? North: Jxxx Kxx Qx AJxxSouth: AKQ AJTxx AKx Q9
Hanoi5
♣A, ♥K and ♥A, (if the ♥Q is out take out the last trump and then), ♠AKQ...
Codo
If the club ten is a "legal" card, West holds 10, Tx, or KTx. And in the last case, he may had lead a different suit- hard to tell without the bidding. This makes the club finesse way below 50 %. And it gives East 4-6 clubs. So the first approach: one of two finesses- is surely worse then it had been after the lead of a small card.I would decline the a priori way of finessing and see two lines: Finesse the queen of hearts in West hand or play Hanois way. His way should be much better, so I would choose it at the table too. BTW: 6 NT looks like the contract to reach with so many HCPs, stoppers and tricks in several suits. Fluffy
its all about table feeling, can't tell you. If playing online against 2 randoms I'd play for the 2 fineses.

bigbenvic
Your auction would help, also the relative strengths of the opening leader. Have we told them where the Ace of clubs is? Is he likely to lead the T from the King, knowing that the Ace is in Norths hand, a finesse we might risk late in the hand but not at trick 1. If 2 randoms, then A and 2 trumps as Hanoi5 (and others) have said.
billyjef
Sorry, the problem was given to me without any other information.
