If there isn't any, maybe there's something more useful that can be done with the 3N opening?

12-15 HCP hand with long hearts sounds good.

I really don't think that having a duplication here is that big a deal. Programming in something like a gambling 3nt is possibly difficult to express in GIB's programming language, I don't know that it can do an either 7+ clubs or 7+ diamonds? If the SAYC'ers are used to opening 3nt on 25-27 this is fine, and the people who reflexively open 2c with strong balance do fine as well. Gambling 3nt is exceedingly rare, and controversial (some prefer it as minor preempt, other as strong major), I think it's fine for GIB to just avoid the issue, and avoid having to program a bunch of rules on how to respond to it.

 

There are a ton of other problems that should be prioritized over this, many of which you posted a bug on. A lot are worse than these duplications or some of the minor nitpicking over descriptions that I would personally sit on until the more egregious auctions are fixed.
