So PhilKing wants to bid 4C, a nice gadget that shows 'exactly' this hand. Ken wants to bid 2D, which systemically may be a super-strong hand with 4-card support. Cyberyeti wants to bid an artificial 2NT. TwoForBridge wants to bid an artificial 2S.

I can short-circuit all of this and say that obviously you are playing T-Walsh, what's the problem:

1C - 1D (hearts)

2NT (artificial heart raise) -

etc etc

But none of this is very helpful in the 'natural bidding discussion' forum.

Perhaps we should be limited to discussing non-forcing natural bids, Stayman and The Old Black.

Hi,

1C, the problem with 2C is, that you just postpone the decision, of course

knowing that partner did respond to the 1C opening makes the decision to

open 1C easier.

Over 1H, I will bid 3S, I will follow up with a quantitative invite of 5H,

if partner bids 4H.

RKCB wont help us, we have the Key cards, we need to find out, if partner is

broke or not.

I am not going to force to slam, those who force, should ask themself, how light

they are responding to a 1 level opener, there were heated discussions, if one

could always assume 6+, when partner makes a simple 1 level response to a 1 level

opener.

With kind regards

Marlowe
