preempted

I'm not at all sure what is right here, but I probably pass. Partner had a chance to act, so we have probably at most half the deck; the vulnerability is wrong for a 2-way shot at a make/sac, and while the spade void is fun for offense, it also says that things may be breaking badly enough for them that 4S isn't a lock to make. But I'm not running headlong into sticks and wheels on a spotless 6 card suit to the KQ and a prayer.

Its the sort of hand where anything could be right. Reverse the colors and I act, but I think the risk reward for acting here is too great.

cuz partner would act with most 9+ point hands amirite? :P

yeah, at most was an overstatement, especially if partner has spade length, but the sentiment abounds - there is an upper limit on what partner has, and if he has spade length, and thus could have a better hand, then there is a better chance we should be defending.

I would pass.

I have a good hand but i dont think good enough to bid 5 at these colors. The suit i am introducing at 5 level red is not even an impressive suit and my side suits dont look like Mike Tyson either. I know bidding 5 could be the winner but sometimes when it is winner pd may get excited too.(or in another hand he may not get excited when he was supposed to)

Partner had K98x Jxx xx AKQ9, it is not clear to me what he should do over 5H and whether you want to be in slam. The diamond king is onside but they can beat 6H by leading a club, opener had Axxxx A xx 10xxxx. If you double then 4S is -3.

At the other table there was no preempt and 6H was bid and made. Double loses a lot, pass loses even more and even 5H might still lose a lot.

They have two bites at the club ruff assuming they don't lead the ace of trump; a lightner makes it even more clear, might beat it 2. You lost it at the other table.

I think partner would bid slam, his hand is awesome. I think slam is pretty bad, they will usually have diamonds given that they have more of them and honors in that suit, so I thik the DK will often be off.
