Without a ♠ stopper, West will bid 4♣ as pass/correct) Let's see how many things you got wrong this time around... 1. I'd probably open 1N rather than 1♠ 2. Raising to 2♠ with 3-5 HCP and 4 card support is an aberration. I can't recall doing so more than a handful of times and certainly wouldn't do so with the hand in question. 3. Doubling 3♠ is nonsensical. RHO has advertized a long running. If LHO has a spade stopper, it has to be the Ace. Why precisely am I doubling Spades?
