yogibear_1
Hi BBO Team: A quick suggestion - some times more pairs want to register for a tourney that the limits that the TD sets, so they're turned away. Oftentimes, some of those that have successfully registered fail to be logged in at the start of the tourney. I suggest allowing a TD to specify a waiting list for a tourney, and if a pair is not available at the start of the tourney, allow pairs from the waiting list to play until the max that the TD wanted is achieved. For example, last night the TD had set a limit of 120 pairs for the Bridge Addicts tourney, and it was full. When the tourney started, however, 9 pairs were missing, so 56 tables got started with one SITOUT. By the way, the SITOUT was filled with subs, who weren't a regular pair. If the TD had wished to allow a wait list of, say, ten pairs, and there was enough interest, the tourney could've had a full 60 table turnout.
