jonottawa
I can't tell if we're supposed to make note of extremely egregious GIB bidding mistakes or not. If we're not, let me know. Anyway, here's your hand: 763 J86 98753 73 Pard opens 2♣ and RHO bids 3♥ and you pass and pard backs in with 3♠ and you bid ... 4♥???????????? I cuebid on what? ________________________________ So you're dealt a 10-top trick MONSTER J AKQJ9764 A9 A7 And you go low and open 1♥, pard bids 1N and you rebid ... 3♥??? Bbradley62
I wonder why 6♣ denies first-round control of D (shows both 1+D and 7-8421HCP). 5♦ would have been a queen ask, so you didn't have the opportunity to cuebid D lower than 6♣. Quantumcat
This is an entertaining way to present GIB's mistakes!

You shouldnt be upset, because anyone who has played with GIB a lot knows that GIB is at most 1-2 jacks short its usual cue-bid strength and it is not even forcing you to the 5th level. It is important to know that GIB will always cue-bid with absolute rubbish, if you show a hand with 25+ points, which can happen quite often when both sides bid vigorously. If GIB had something useful it would not bother to cue-bid, but simply jump to the slam.
georgi
Both cases will be fixed in next GIB version.
