Deanrover
Fav vul. 987KA97652QT9 RHO passes, you congratulate yourself on an unusually disciplined pass, LHO opens 1C, partner surprises you by overcalling 1 Diamond and RHO Sputniks. You bid 1H (thoughts?), LHO bids 3C and the action is back to you. Whatdya think?
hrothgar
Pass... WTP?
Fluffy
Besides the posibility that 5♦ is cold there is nothing wrong about passing . The hand we need for winning game is about a dream (♥A, singl ♣ and ♠A or K onside). So don´t bother and let them play.
pbleighton
I think that you should have opened something in diamonds (1, 2, or 3 depending on your system and preferences). However, having passed once, pass again. Peter
EricK
Presumably you psyched to try to persuade the opponents to play in the wrong contract. Maybe it has worked! I pass Eric
hrothgar
I think that you should have opened something in diamonds (1, 2, or 3 depending on your system and preferences) I like to bid...I really like to bid... and pass looks right to me Lots of side suit defenseUgly broken that makes it much easier for the opponent to hit you when its right
pclayton
Don't overcook hands like this. You've created action with your psyche now live with the result (probably good, since pard didn't compete with 3♥)
Flame
PassYou need a plan in your bidding, if the plan was to get to your side best contract then you shouldnt have psyched in the first place.
Free
pass...
the hog
Really don't like this psyche. I must have had something in mind, but as I can't mind read I don't know what. I'll live with this and pass i guess, but I am really worried that 5D might be cold.
nikos59
Well, I would probably bid 1S over the Sputnik.Either this or 5D, although 3nt also has some merit. But now, I guess your psyche struck well andthey have 8hearts between them (or 9: whereare the hearts?) That said, perhaps theyhad 4H down 1. Anyway, I now pass and wait eagerly for dummy. nikos
luke warm
i think you have to pass now, since they are probably playing in something other than their best fit... however, the 3h bid is sure scary... i've never done that because i just know my pard will bid 6 of whatever i psych

I would open 2D. Both white, I would pass, sorrowfully. Peter
Gerben47
Pass. They are not going to find their ♥ fit now!
Free
Seems like you're dealing with extremely weak opponents, since they can't handle a little 1♥ psych :D If the opener looks at his hand, and he looks at the spoutnik Dbl, he KNOWS they have a fit, so why believe your bid and not his partner's? Unless our dear partner also tried to learn something about psychs... I don't see any point in psyching after spoutnik Dbl, just bid 5♦ or 6♦ (to make it dirty) immediatly B) Now pass is obvious imo.
