dogsbreath
HI (Uday i guess :D )..Any chance of the organiser of a team game being able to see the BBO version of players applying for admission to team games? Old versions cause problems with acceptances .. maybe this would eliminate that .. Rgds Dog
uday
When a host launches a team game, 8 invitations are sent out. Assuming all 8 players accept, the Team game still fails if - one of the players is playing in another tourney or in a total points table- one of the players goes offline before the team game starts- one of the players is running a truly ancient bbo There is a bug. If one of these conditions happens the host is not told who had the problem or what the problem was. The host sees a generic msg saying someone had a problem. I have tested a fix and will install it in a week or so, when we return from the ACBL NABC

Even then, I would think that they'd be locked off the site by now.

uday
The 33x series cannot login, but 34x and up can login, i believe. Users can reject the autoupgrade; users might be wiping temp folders on reboot and rebooting (messing up the partially downloaded upgrade). I see no reason yet to force users to upgrade if they can't or wont autoupgrade. The msg seen by the TG host is misleading, saying something like "one of the players is using an older version or is offline" where it should say "one of the players who accepted the invitation is either offline or playing in another tourney"
