vbartone
Simple request - align the suits in declarers hand and dummy. Yes, trumps go on th eleft, but the rest of the suits, and the hands at NT, should at least start with the suits aligned. doesn't everyone do this at the table? BTW, having the human play the hands in ACBL robot games is a great idea. I think it will greatly increase participation. I know I've pretty much lost interest in the ACBL robot games due to robot insanity while declaring... Thanks,Vin

barmar
I've never done this, and I don't think I've ever seen anyone rearrange their hand based on the way dummy is laid out. And if we were to do this, why only with robots?
Bbradley62
Doesn't the system already always put the suits in the same order (♠♥♦♣ for diagrams, ♠♥♣♦ for pictures), meaning that North and South hands are always "aligned" anyway? barmar
Looks like the old version doesn't always do that. I'm kibitzing a hand now and declarer in 3NT is SHDC, but dummy is CHSD. If this suggestion is intended for the old version, it will be ignored. We stopped making changes to the old version years ago and have no plans to resume. Bbradley62
Of course, the suggestion of putting trumps to the left (or, presumably, at the top of diagrams) is still valid.
