Obviously you're hoping east has jt or 6 clubs, but i suppose you might as well discard the spade even if west wins to give him a chance to make an error (if he has the Q of D he needs to exit on one of his intermediate spades, which, admittedly, isn't going to be too difficult for players of this calibre, but you didn't mention who the opps were) 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
