i know my bid is not correct and this position is rare but why bid 6N when we have a laydown 6S possible?

I have seen this occur a number of times. For some reason, there are a lot of bids (especially jumps to game or slam) that GIB plays as showing 25+ HCP or 30+ HCP and, since it assumes that you have those values, it bids accordingly.

I have also seen many penalty doubles by GIB holding virtually no defense (sometimes a zero count 4333) because you have shown a big hand. The fact that you would double if you hold the big hand that you advertised does not appear to "occur" to GIB.
