wyman
QJx / J8xx / x / QJ87x P (1D) P (1S)P (1N) P (P)? Pass, dbl, or 2C? Choose your own colors and form of scoring.
aguahombre
At any colors, the time to make a takeout for the other two suits was the previous round or never. Get in early or stay out, IMO. With the given hand, my choice would have been to stay out at any vulnerability.
billw55
What a pile of junk. No way I get in this auction at any vulnerability or scoring. edit: well, maybe I would consider it favorable at BAM.
BunnyGo
Yeech. If the consensus is that we should be competing with this, then I have to give a long hard think to how I evaluate these decisions. I always pass unless swinging hard. Maybe at Rubber bridge nonvul vs vul when they have 60 on I bid. I dunno.
nigel_k
Matchpoints not vul I would double. I have nine cards in the two unbid suits and it's only the two level. I have passed twice so partner will not expect much. Defending 1NT doesn't have huge appeal either.
