han
All white, IMPs. xxxJxxxJ109xxx You pass in first seat and the auction continues: p - (p) - 1H - (1S)p - (3S) - Dbl - (Rdbl)4C - (p) - 4S - (p)?? What would you bid? Although 4NT should probably some sort of last train here, assume that partner would answer his number of keycards. rhm
6♣ (assuming a reliable partner) Rainer Herrmann
gnasher
Could partner have one of these hands:- AKxxxx Axx AKxx- AKJxx AKxx AKxxIf I was sure that 4NT would be Keycard, I'd bid that, in case partner shows four keycards wth a void. I expect him to be selective about showing that, obviously. Edited June 14, 2012 by gnasher
CSGibson
5♣. If I need a finesse, it's probably offsides, and partner didn't open 2♣ to begin with. Plus, its an extension of the -50/+480 rule.

Phil
Yes, 6♣. Hopefully partner can kick it in with a 0634 and the tops.
Tataie
Dont think you lose at bridge because you didnt guess between 5♣ and 6♣.I think you lose because you play with ppl that dont know the guy who denied a positive hand and can have 0 hcp can ask kc.4nt is clear for me imho.It is a last train and works as intended..I dont have anything but the long ♣.Its like having 3 bids 1.4nt-9 2.5♣-2 3.6♣-2 and you ask me to pick from 2/3.I'm saying "F*** this Im still picking 1". JLOGIC
If I had 4N available, I'd bid 6C
MrAce
Call me crazy but i would have bid 5♣ over pd's first double. (instead of 4♣)
lalldonn
Call me crazy but i would have bid 5♣ over pd's first double. (instead of 4♣)Not crazy but I agree with the 4♣ bid personally. Anyway I also agree with all the 6♣ bids now.
akhare
Hmm...a cue bid at the 4-level following a TOX -- smells like 6♣ to me...
han
I think from the title it was pretty clear what I did and what the result was. Partner held -AKQxxAQxxAxxx Thanks all for your reactions!
