Nice poll, I would double over 1S and 2S but pass over 3S. I wouldn't be surprised if someone could convince me that I should double 3S as well.

this would have been a MUCH tougher choice if my two suits had been clubs and hearts vs dia and hearts

I have ELC on my side with the presented problem making the x much more palatable.

Double is just always right in the pass out seat with this hand. Even if unpassed. If you don't double here you are taking a serious hit on expected value imo.

when this hand hapened reopening 3♠ would lead to a makng 3NT, partner had ♠Axx and could shut down their comunications easilly.
