chicken
hi all, i would like to play a team match by using a set of predealt hands and preset results @ one table, so 4 persons would be able to virtually pd bridgecelebrities in an already played event where the hand records are known. any ideas how to arrange that? chicken

I hope anyone of our experts has an idea. :D Cheers Al
uday
Like the Vugraph deals you mean ? I have currently turned them off ( i did so to conserve bandwidth during Istanbul and will enable them again soon) The Vug deals need 4 humans at the bbo table, tho. chicken
yes, like the springold hands. if i had an option to load my own lin.file instead (and if i find out more about the syntax to enter the score because i only have the hands) would be great. inquiry
Like the Vugraph deals you mean ? I have currently turned them off ( i did so to conserve bandwidth during Istanbul and will enable them again soon) A user inquired today about using vugraph hands to play against. Is this feature going to stay turned off?
uday
Bah, forgot to turn them on. But the original vug deals were ancient. I suppose we should create a new set of vug deals as well.
chicken
why not create a link to the library or elswhere (nikos`vuegraph archive is huge...)so that people will be able to chose there own matches. u c, i am still hooked on this thing........a similar competition in my "reallife" club called "Play With The Stars" became really popular, and even little LOLs used to play only once a week, arranged additional dates to play these hands. xx1943
Hi Uday, hi Fred, It would be very helpful for teaching purposes, if I could upload my own prepared hands for a training with my students group while creating a team-tourney.At the moment I must create a small Pairs-tourney instead. The flaw of this is the not to control movement. Many thanks, if you could help here. Many thanks for all the benefits you are doing to BBO-users Sincerly Al
dosxtres
Hi In the same way, could be posible do the same in a tourney? With a predealt set, vugraph or recorded by anyone, with the bidding and score, to put into a tourney, as if they where playing it and showing the results at the same time the people are playing the boards? cheers. uday
At a normal table, the predefined result from the vugraph is useful to generate a comparison. At a tourney, there is less use for that ; the comparison comes from the other tables. I can see value in this anyway for educational/entertainment purposes or to create a new type of tourney

As soon as the team event shows up at the bottom of the list of games (in the color indiciating it is about to start.. in 2 min or less), the host can 1) Click the Green table button2) Choose "load predealt hands" from the option3) find the file and click on it If you do that fast enough, you can play any hands you like
