I balance again with 3d, corrected to 3h by my gib partner (who has passed twice already) with ...T6 Q764 KT984 76 This to me is very mysterious. When my real life partner bid that vul against not- I took her to game and admonished her afterwards for such a poor bid- your bid is pass- the 3C is probably near max and 1C is probably 14 balanced so they'd make 3NT (like most GIB bids poorly defined Ginsberg took 3s to define those bids). That does not answer why partner bid 3h. I am happy for gib to assume my 3d is "strong" if it likes (it doesnot mean that, especially if 3c were strong) ...
