levier17
http://tinyurl.com/cj9fyjb is it too much to ask gib to be able to pass this 3nt?
nathan2008
ok. Let me teach you. At first, I am sure that this is "best" hand style. Best hand = your pd cannot have more HCP than you. As you have only 12, you should know he has less than 12 HCP. You can wisely pass 3s lol. Secondly, I am sure that many "expert" players will bid 4s with north hand. In the end, don't you think it is a fantastic def from opps? I don't think every expert player will lead HA after 4H bid. You are just unlucky to have H not 3-3 break. Luck is also one part of bridge.
ahydra
This post should be renamed to "GiB actually defends a hand well for once!" Four tricks in a row where it did the right thing... incredible. ;) And yes, you were just unlucky here. ahydra
Bbradley62
As you have only 12, you should know he has less than 12 HCP. You can wisely pass 3s lol.South looks like 14 HCP to me. And best hand means that South is at worst tied for most HCP, so North could have 14 HCP plus lots of distributional points. Passing partner's forcing 3♠ would be absurd. nathan2008
yes, sorry... forget to bring my calculator.... I always need a calculator for counting HCP :(.
barmar
The real shame is that it's hard to double East's 2♦. Looks to me like it's down 2 (NS get 2♠, 2♣, 3♦), a great score at this vulnerability.
