why not support hearts right away? if this is some kind of game try in hearts after i bid my second suit in the 3 level, why not say that may be?

Q: Why not take the finesse? Because Gib is preventing dia 4-1 break. If dia is 4-1 and DK on the wrong side, he will go into trouble. Because dummy has only 1 entry. I would say it is a safe play by GIB.

 

Q: Why not support hearts right away? Because GIB wanted to invite in Hearts, so he bids 2Nt first, no matter what u bid, he wanted to be 3H to invite.
