zenko
When I play a tourney with my regular pards (and thats the only way I play them) if they lose connection I am 100% sure they are coming back (barring an earthquake or computer catching fire), so the last thing I need is some random sub jumping in, usually just seconds before my pard is back online. It would be nice to have a tag that would notify directors to stay away. To avoid delays that tag should be set to automatically expire after a few minutes or close to the end of the round. fuburules3
I don't like this. Why should your opponents have to wait for two or three minutes while your partner (maybe) reconnects? Perhaps this would be ok you agreed to accept an average minus for any unplayed boards, but this opens a whole new can of worms (your opponents deliberately playing slow to try to get an average plus). Yup totally with you on this Why should other pair have to wait and see IF they do re-appear B-)
diana_eva
I think this refers to the cases where reds are subbed instantly. Normally the TD should come to the table, see what's going on - for example if the disconnected player is dummy, or if the round is already over. But since it is possible to replace reds without coming to the table, sometimes it happens that players are replaced within seconds, even if there is time to wait for them.
