kalooki
I don't mind direct cues to show a limit raise, but I think you should program it to dump cue bidding once it has passed twice! Tell GIB passed hands can't make forcing bids. It's almost impossible to compete, as a belated 3rd round cue bid from the bot raises the auction beyond sane limits.
Stephen Tu
It's best if you post link to exact hands (look up your hand in www.bridgebase.com/myhands and post link to the movie or make copy of the movie using the forum's hv tag ), describe exact auctions; vague complaints like this don't pinpoint the holes in the bidding database. Most of these it's because of the bad definition of one side's competitive bids, showing too much HCP, which causes the previously passing BOT to be too excited. If the auction is posted, perhaps BBO can adjust the limits appropriately if they are too strong. Some other percentage might be because the bot was supposed to bid earlier so it doesn't have to overbid later. You definitely don't want to make some blanket rule like passed hands can't cue bid later. One might have passed hoping partner could reopen with a double, but he reopened with a suit. dwar0123
Another fine example of gib failing the turing test in spectacular fashion. This may be the worst pair of bids I have seen anyone or thing ever make. Until the programmers get a handle on this, I would suggest you steer clear of making any bid that is described as being 25+ total points. Gib tends to massively overbid when responding, often in ways that wouldn't even make sense if you did have 25+ total points.

georgi
The missing upper limit causes some subsequent problems in auctions later. In next update there would be set limits in some of the basic overcalls like here, as supposedly GIB would double with any 19+TP or 17+HCP with appropriate hand with one suiter. Similar also for auction like: 1X - Pass - 1NT - 2Y etc So, supposedly partner ( GIB ) of overcaller won't dream with lousy hands as partner's hand will be restricted by strength initially or when rebids.
