ellenmcc
i would like to see programming for a new kind of team match. eight players at two tables where each player plays either one or two hands (director's choice) and then switches partners until everyone has played one (or two) rounds with each person in the match. scores would be individual instead of team. wank
a rather obscure wish. your prospects of getting what you want given limited development capacity are somewhere in the region of 0 i suspect.
Oof Arted
<_< Perhaps one answer is for the setter to do it manually , yes I know it will be hard work but you only have to set 7 times
barmar
Why not just run a 2-table IMP Pairs individual tourney?
mgoetze
Why not just run a 2-table IMP Pairs individual tourney?Does this actually work? And if so, why does it work whereas in a pairs tournament you are stuck playing either NS or EW?
barmar
You're right, it probably doesn't. I think if you make it Swiss you can switch directions, but then you're not guaranteed to play everyone.
