I think this was a discussion of a recent bridge world panel and there was a strong suggestion that 2S in a place like this should show spades and a minor. Bbradley62 Posted April 18, 2012 Report Share Posted April 18, 2012 GIB makes that balancing 2♠ bid on 4 spades often enough that the description should be 4+S, not 5+S.
