I think 2s should be defined as a little stronger than 10-12 total points. I usu play 3c as 8-10, 2s as 11-12. Often targeting 3nt so kind of prefer a bit more hcp. But maybe a miinor quibble.2. I think 3c should show 4+ clubs rather than 3. I think that a lot of 3cd club hands should try 2nt nf. Although I suppose 4513 should still rebid 3c. But for purposes of North deciding whether to move, it should probably assume 4. And a real min, maybe drop to 12-13 total points rather than allow 14?3. Really, really hate 3d, it has no extras, no particular reason to think 3c isn't the limit of the hand. Book bid should be pass, no? Maybe it thinks "quasi-game" is still possible, but with no one bidding NT yet, and partner showing a minimum and without enough high card values for 3nt to be a good prop, it's a bad idea to explore, since you need a lot extras to make 5m, and partner doesn't have them and isn't likely to bid it. Here I have the perfecto min, but I needed a friendly lead to make 5 and I don't think it was a realistic reach on 12 opposite 9. 4m has no game bonus so it's anti-percentage to risk it if partner's going to bid & make 5 close to never, even though 4m might make reasonably often. I'm kind of the mind that 3c should be a "drop dead" bid, if enough to move, probably it should have enough to 2/1 to begin with.
