rduran1216
IMPS early round compact KO opps silent throughout having trouble with hand editor North deals and holds 86KQJ1094K2KJ10 South holds Q77A109865A754 Auction 1H 1NT(forcing)2H 3D3H all pass
mike777
We are not told but I would assume any bid over 3d is gameforce.....south cannot pass. that means north must pass with any dead minimum hand or expect to play in game if north bids. same meta agreement if south rebids 2nt and north bids again...gf, cannot correct to play in 3 level contract. btw I would have expected more for 3d bid by south if that matters so Iplay this deal in 2h if pard rebids 2h on the other hand pard may rebid 2c and then 2h over 2d to show this hand for me :( 1h=1nt2c=2d2h=3c3d=? JLOGIC
No blame. You had 13 opp 10 with a 6-1 fit and no other singletons. Oh well.
the hog
The hands fit really well and you still might have to find the C Q if Ds don't break.
JLOGIC
The hands fit really well and you still might have to find the C Q if Ds don't break. If diamonds don't break you will often just go down on a diamond ruff. But it's obv still quite a good game.
Siegmund
Assuming you got 170, you win 2 on the board: if I am North I am passing 3D, having already shown my sixth heart, and liking Kx in partner's suit.
omarsh10
After 3H, South knows about game in hearts South MUST bid 4H, he is to blame...
Cyberyeti
After 3H, South knows about game in hearts South MUST bid 4H, he is to blame...How does he know partner doesn't have xxx, KQ9xxxx, K, Kx where game is massive odds against even if they don't just cash the first 4 tricks or play 3 rounds of spades. gnasher
I blame the opponents for not bidding their spades. The correct auction is1♥ 1♠ 2♦ 3♠4♥or1♥ pass 1NT 2♠3♥ 3♠ dbl
Fluffy
Even on a 2/1 context 3♦ can be bid with different ranges, neeed to know what 3[d] shows on your system.
rduran1216
1M p 3D would be a WJS So this action by South generally is <2 hearts, >= 6 diamonds with 8-11 or so
benlessard
2H/3H/3D is normal. minimum 6322 with no A vs misfit 10 count with Qx. Well done opps if they bid it, next board.
