Upgrading Version 5.2

Hi.

For a week or so, when I first launch bbo version 5.2, each day, a window pops up and propose a new release which I accept.

Then the bboE546.exe program starts.

And a few second later, a new pop up states:

bboA17.exe

Setup can not create the following folder:

\robots\gib

unquote

 

So my question: what must I do to overtake this difficulty?

 

My PC runs under Windows seven 64 bits.

 

I have deleted the existing directory \robots\gib before the launch of the update next day, but this did not change anything.

So I have created then again, manually, as they were before the try.

Are you running from an admin account?

I have the same problem.

 

I run BBO from a Stick drive ( not the usual C drive). Windows XP Pro. Not sure how to resolve this.

This is a link to a fresh download of the new version, so it shouldn't need to auto-update after it's installed.

 

This link is just for forum readers for now. When we're sure it's OK we'll put it on the main download site.

Version 5.2.21 installed successufully.

So far it seems to be OK.

 

I'll let you know if I come accross any misfunction.
