TBoneDon
I think the 30 seconds allowed for players to bid or play is fine. However I suggest 15 additional seconds be added after the opening lead to allow declarer to plan the hand.

diana_eva
What happens if a player does not bid or play within 30 seconds? After a couple of warnings, he is removed from the game and replaced by a bot.
jillybean
To be fair, you should be able to 'bank' your unused seconds so that when you face a complex bid or play situation you can spend the time needed to find the optimal contract or line of play. barmar
If you need more than 30 seconds, I'm not sure that another 15 seconds is likely to be enough. Either you're in a normal contract where you can play quickly, or you're in a difficult one where you need to go into the tank for a minute or more to solve the problem. But these are supposed to be extreme speedballs. If you need time to figure out how to execute the compound squeeze, too bad.
