Anyway, we start playing, I look at my cards and see: [hv=pc=n&n=sakj52h3dakqt753c]133|100[/hv] RHO opens 1♣ so I bid 2♣ showing ♠/♦ good/bad, partner bids 2♠, I decide I'll look on tghe rosy side, bid 5♣ exclusion, he bids 5♥ showing A♥, I bid 5N asking for the Q♠ and partner bottled out and bid 6♠ picking up 2 imps against the superior 6♦ at the other table. Partner's hand: [hv=pc=n&s=sq3ha964d6c875432]133|100[/hv] Not sure how frequent 7510s are, but to get two of them as my first boards of my last 2 sessions is uncanny, this one was a lot better than the x, Jxxxxxx, void, xxxxx I had the previous time. When you ask a specific question (♠Q?), you deserve a true answer.Agreed, he also has played with me for a long time, so knows that I would bid like this with what I actually had (I can hardly have any less although I'd be tempted with AKQJxxx, AK10xx or AKQxxx, AKxxxx hoping he had 3 spades). Sometimes you worry that your bid showed something other than you thought, and partner is going to expect a better hand.
