AyunuS
It always seems to do things like that. It very rarely leads a long suit and usually leads from a suit it has few to no high cards in.
pigpenz
welcome to GIBnow next time your on lead try it and youll probably find that leading from xxx you get crucified. If GIB cant lead from AK♦ against 6NT how can it possibly know what to lead against 3NT <_<
barmar
GIB does often tend to make passive leads against 3NT. Surprisingly, these frequently work to its benefit, since partner or declarer may later lead into its strong suit.
fuburules3
I just was cursing GIB today for leading from xxx instead of AQJxx against 3NT when I later went down when other GIB got in and led through my Kx. Seems like these things will only get noticed when they backfire (as there is no forum to compliment GIB when it does something right). My point is that of all the things GIB does, this doesn't bother me all that much as it sometimes works and it is not clearly wrong (as opposed to say bidding 3NT with no stopper and an 8 card major or not cashing AK when on lead against 6NT). Bbradley62
... there is no forum to compliment GIB when it does something right...The description of this forum includes "Report..ahem, good plays by GIB"; it just seldom gets used for that purpose...
