AyunuS
Way back when I was first starting out, I was trying out a lot of new things all the time. As such, I once tried a system where I didn't have any strong openings except if I opened 3NT or something bigger. Then, guess, what, I got a really strong hand. I had A, AKJx, AKxx, Axxx. But, seeing as I didn't have any strong openings, I opened 1 diamond. The successive bids were 5 clubs, 5 hearts, and then 6 clubs, and then it was my turn to finally make my second bid. We were vul, but they were not. What would you bid in this situation?
manudude03
I'd bid a straight 7H, I throw the book at partner if he bid 5H with xxxxxx (and trumps 3-0). 7NT is tempting, so maybe 7C is the best bid :).
AyunuS
Manudude, I think you'd end up throwing a book at him when you found out he only had 4 hearts and 9 HCP.

Statto
I guess I'd bid 6♥ unless we had agreement on what double [or pass] would mean. But I don't care much for the system B-)
BunnyGo
Looks like a 7♥ bid to me. Not sure that 7NT will have 13 tricks off the top, but 7♥ should make all day.
