bid these hands

What is your goal contract ? 6H is not a good contract, i think most normal bidding will get you to 4/5 heart .

In my system (polish club) it will begin with

1-1

2

which show 8 tricks hand, partner although having a nice hand can not see a source for 12 trick, the continuation can change but i think 5H will be the limit.

give me a Q more (even the Q of spade) and i might go to slam and probebly go down there.

Basically opener bid 4H alone here , partner didnt show anything , only neg and second neg, and 2h maybe third neg. Maybe 3h to invite is better but not sure.

Yeah, pretty much, but aggressive games pay off. I'll gamble that game is on given that partner has shown heart support with 2.

2 - 2

2 - 3

4 - All Pass

1. 2 = 5+ controls and 4-5 losers (usually 19-21 HCP)

2. 2 = 0-1 control

3. If pard can't cover a single loser, then no game

4. Close between 3 and 4. If the hand had a 4th heart, then a splinter would be in order.

Precision (as my husband and I play it)

1 16+

1 <8

2 lots of points suit -- forcing for 1 round

3 not slam going -- showing 3

4

Simple :D

I just now realise that maybe your question (ur target contract) wasnt 6H but 4H, maybe you had the bidding

1 pass

Without 4 card spade this wouldnt be that bad and if i play a system that 2h show 8-10, but 1nt is only semiforcing, pass might just be the alternative i would choose, espcially at MP. but with 4 card spade u can bid 1sp and then bid a very weak 2H (usually doublton support)

I think in Ben's system they have 2c for this.

For this hand, precision and sayc (or 2/1) makes no difference. In my version of precision, jump over 1 response is the same as a 2 opening in sayc. And this hand does not qualify for 1-1-2. I would bid 2 whether my pd opens 1 (sayc or 2/1 ...) or 1 then 1 over my 1 (precision).
