wank Posted January 28, 2012 Report Share Posted January 28, 2012 2♠ in 3rd, otherwise pass. you have hearts so you don't need to go wild pre-empting - 1) the opps are unlikely to be bidding 4 hearts and 5m requires a lot of tricks 2) your hand has a lot of potential for p if hearts are trumps. 3♠ often bounces the opps into a thin 3nt, which on this hand i wouldn't be very happy about. ok stuff's breaking badly, but you've got no sign of an entry. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Teammate bid 3N and bought xxx x Txxxx xxxx. Diamonds were 3-1 so -1. Opps doubled and found 5D. WD to them. Partner said he thinks I should have opened 2S. I'd rather pass.
