bluecalm
These days most of the forums are populated with bidding problems of various kind and it's completely random if those problems are posted in advanced, interesting hands or general bridge discussion session. I think the split should be along the lines of: -cardplay problems-bidding judgement problems-agreements/system (both bidding and defense)-BI, it seems to work fine-topics unrelated to actual play (general bridge discusion) Thoughts ? mgoetze
I won't bother to think about it because my last impression was that nothing is going to change anyway.
nigel_k
Maybe 'Interesting Bridge Hands' can be closed because it's kind of redundant - or you would hope it is redundant. But I'm happy with the rest of the structure. You will always get people disagreeing about where a hand belongs. I wouldn't separate judgment and agreements. Often it's useful to have opinions on both for the same problem.
bluecalm
I guess what I want is a place with cardplay problems. I would for example like to read some older posts but fishing for them in other forums is difficult and old posts with bidding problems aren't too interesting to me in general. nigel_k
The basic problem is that each post should not be limited to just one category. But that would require a fairly radical overhaul of the forum structure.
