What is the correct bidding sequence for this deal?
benlessard
(P)-1C-(3S)-X(5S)-?? Here i think West is strong enough to make a forcing pass suggesting 6 is possible on wich East will glady accept with 5Nt followed by 6C. (P)-1C-(4S)-4Nt (suggesting 2 suiters)(5S)-again west is strong enough to make a FP, East should probably accept (but its much less clear this time). In MP I wouldnt lose sleep with missing 6 here, but in IMPS its a fail to not reach 6 here because of the scoring a 35% slam might be ok and because opps will sometimes sacrifice a fair amount of the time at these colours. mr1303
1C (3S) X (4S)4NT* (P)6D (P)6H 4NT shows 2 places to play. (OK this might be slightly resulting)
