Cue-bids

Recommended Posts

1/2) In auctions like 1H-(1S)-2D-(P)-3D-(P)-3S, some people play that the 3S bid asks for a spade stopper (Western), some people play it shows a stopper (Eastern). In my experience Western is the vastly more common meaning - but I am from the West.

3) A cuebid of a suit your opponent has promised, but not bid naturally: for instance 1H-(2H Michaels)-2S.
