Auction is as follows...

N/S (NV) E/W (NV)

WEST--NORTH--EAST--SOUTH

-------------------PASS

PASS--PASS---1----2NT(A)

3----PASS---4----PASS

PASS--????

2NT(A)=5/5 in minors (promises some kind of points in both suits)

What do you bid from North with these cards?

: T865

: Q54

: QT3

: AJ4

Pass.

I have no great expectation of defeating 4 but we could have 2 tricks in each minor (unlikely as they appear to be short on points so likely to have shape to compensate) and that rates as a better chance than going 1 off. 2 off is more likely and 3 is a real possibility - give him KJ and k and have the non trump suit break 4-1 so that they get a ruff. Ace and another if trumps and club lead win A club continuation when are trumps.

It's a risk reward thing and there is always a chance they'll bid 5 over 5 and go one off but my opps usually get it right and X me when they should and bid on when X is wrong.

Pass, you are flat as a pancake. Your rate to have 3 major suit losers and 1-2 minor suit losers. So you are down 300 to 500, which white vs white isn't that good at imps and meh at mps. Also being so flat your opponents may also not make 4 , there is enough minors out between them to have 3 losers in just the minors.
