JLOGIC Posted January 15, 2012 Report Share Posted January 15, 2012 White/red I would for sure, it is not close to me, having 6 is a flaw but every other thing is there, great suit, no D, 2-1 in the majors, completely pure etc. White/red it is not unlikely that we have a good save in 5C if partner chooses to bid it over something. mikestar13 Posted January 15, 2012 Report Share Posted January 15, 2012 To me, this looks like 3♣ even in a system where we have a weak two in clubs available (which most of us don't). The hand is a totally pure preempt: very strong suit with no ace, no side strength whatever and no major suit length. It's flaws are the lack of a seventh club and being in second seat.
