This could have been one of those times. With a four-club bid now, South might take a view that you have what you have, and bid 6♣. And the miracle would be that you are declarer instead of South. No Club can ever be put on the table by the opponents, and the contract comes home. Even lucky from the other side, since the high hearts will drop. I'd DBL again, all u need is a 4 or 5 card suit from pd to play somewhere even if he has 0 hcp. If he passes u have quite a good hand to defend as well.
