georgi Posted December 21, 2011 Report Share Posted December 21, 2011 Isn't North good enough to bid direct 3♣ after 2♣ opening. 2♣ natural responses like 2♥/2♠/3♣/3♦ require some quality in the suit, like KQ or better and 8+TP. It will be considered for improvement. In the particular case it seems it comes as simulation bid as forced but not finding suitable bid.
