Do you make another move and if you do, what do you bid?
jmcw
To have a decent shot at slam you need P to have the ♠K or maybe a stiff, and friendly trump distribution. If you can find that out then I might take a shot since the 5 level should be safe
aguahombre
Just pass and take you +And be glad partner had 2♦ available to prevent you from opening 2♣
pooltuna
if you think your partner will only bid 2♦ on a J or T high suit yes then maybe a slam try is possible. But generally I think it is nutso to try or worry about it.
Fluffy
we might have more chances at slam if partner has doubleton than singleton. But the bidding strongly suggests he has singleton and there are too many spades to ruff, on a trump lead slam will be very poor, I pass. whereagles
Agree with gonzalo. Unless pard's preempt is jack high, slam rates to be bad.
the_clown
Thanks for all responses. In real life I held xx QJ9 QJ10xxx xx and partner jumped to 6♥ down 2 after some bad breaks.
