manudude03
Maybe I'm missing something, but the defence always beats it. We must win this diamond trick or else a club sets up a trump promotion for the defence's third trick, but winning it leaves East endplayed into giving the defence the third trick anyway. If you play a spade to the king to ruff the club, we must give up a heart or a low ruff and the defence still has the queen of trumps. If we try taking a losing trump finesse, a club leaved us locked in the East hand. And playing AK of trumps means North can win the queen early and cash their 3rd trick. cloa513
Why bother with analysis when GIB gives it down on any lead but the queen of spades.
