myprac
The rollover description for a 1nt opener says "Could have 5M." The text version of GIB's convention card says a 1nt opener denies a 5-card major. I recall an announcement a while back that GIB was changed to permit 5M for 1nt, so I assume it is the CC that requires correction. Would be nice to get some clarity on how GIB chooses between 1nt and 1M.
myprac
And here's another inconsistency. The CC says "Opening major rebid does not promise 6 cards in the suit." In the sequence 1H - 1S - 2H the rollover for the last bid says 6+ H.

In the sequence 1H - 1S - 2H the rollover for the last bid says 6+ H.That's because 1N is available for the minimum balanced rebid. But, the sequence 1H-2C/2D-2H doesn't show 6 because 2N would show extras.
barmar
I'll see what I can do about fixing the notes and CC for the 1NT and 2NT openings. As Bradley says, the point about rebids not promising 6 only applies in 2/1 auctions. I'll try to get that fixed as well.
myprac
I'll try to get that fixed as well. Thanks. And BTW, my remarks aren't complaints and I hope they aren't too nitpicky. Just trying to contribute toward improvements, even if minor ones.
