If they lead 4th best s are 4-4.(Although the way South continued says it is not) And i cant see any interesting line tbh.

If 3-3 K on i am cold, if not i will need finesse on, trying to make 4+3+1+1 red tricks. I cant afford to play small to AQJxx incase N has stiff K because that will disable me from taking finesse if K is not stiff. But since u posted this, there must be a sexy move that i cant see at the moment.

I'd start with AK. If the Q didn't drop, we need 3-3 with the K onside. If the Q dropped, then we only need K onside.

So u think playing on 3-3 and K on or Q drops is better line than taking both black finesses ? Interesting

I think we are both playing on 3-3 K on. And in case they are not you are betting your money on Qx while i bet my money on finesse.

Qx or Q stiff = 16.14 + 2.42 = % 18.56

finesse or stiff Q off side = 50+ 1.21 = % 51.21

Is there something i maybe missing except than 5-1 or 6-0 break while club was Qx or stiff ? Which is % 1.41 you can reduce from my line even if we dont reduce the 6-0 or 5-1 King off side from your line ?

Ok knowing that i am on board, not in hand, letme try again then.

3-3 K on = % 17.76 + Qx or Q stiff = % 18.56 = % 36.32

Then i think cashing 1 club honor and playing low to T and then taking finesse is still better i guess. No ?

I'd start with AK. If the Q didn't drop, we need 3-3 with the K onside. If the Q dropped, then we only need K onside.

Didn't we decide that diamonds are 4-4? Given that, if Q does drop, you don't need K onside - just play a spade to the 10, making four spades, three clubs and two red aces.

That, of course, means that MrAce's new line is superior.

I don't think we decided anything about the diamonds.

Opening leader has played 5-Q-7

His partner has played K-9-2

The 10 and the 8 are still missing.

Opening leader's carding appears to be from a 4-card suit, Q1075 or Q875 if they play 4th highest leads

Partner's carding appears to be from a 3 card suit, K92 as with K982 the 2 is the normal card on the second round, and K1092 the 10 or the 2.

So either they are playing attitude or 3/5 leads, or partner has false carded.

Are we allowed to know their opening lead style?
