tim58
Perhaps this is a known issue: many of the vugraph files linked here for the Bermuda Bowl contain commentary from previous segments. I've noticed the same thing. The open room seems okay but the closed room has a bunch of extra comments from other matches. I think it's been happening for a while, not just this Bermuda Bowl. JLOGIC
Yeah it's been going on forever. It's extremely annoying as a fan, and I wish it was a priority to fix it, but I understand BBO has a lot of things to do and maybe it's not worth it (I also don't know how hard it is to fix). inquiry
For what it is worth, if you download the vugraph and open it with bridgecomposer (shareware) the comments open in a form that is easy to delete the random noise from the wrong room. Also if you open it with bridgecaptain double dummy solver, all the comments (bidding and play) open in a new text window which you can minimize and ignore as you click through the hands. The downside, it is not always clear WHEN the comments were made in either of these two options for viewing the downloaded files. I use bridgecomposer to get rid of comments (sorry commentors) and get a clean bidding.play file. I use DDsolver if I wanted to look at the play card by card without having to click next all the time for each line of comments. Both can be used to read what the commentors had to say without constant clicking. It is right that the comments have been screwed up forever.
