Your are East - your system is 4 card suits, Majors before minors, weak NTYour defensive agreements are a primarily reverse count based defense, with attitude and suit preference secondary. Partner leads a trump, declarer wins and plays a second high trump from hand. What card do you play at Trick 2 and why? nickfsydney
the hog
I am going to pitch the H5, which the way I play, asks for a C from partner. I hope to take a couple of Clubs, a D and a H.
Fluffy
declarer is most likelly 5233, the only trick that we are fighting for is the third club and that will be possible only if we let declarer make a diamond trick he doesn't have to, so I discard a discouraging diamond. A big encouraging heart could be aloso good, but fails in partner has 3 small without the 10. Stil it might be better since opening clubs doesn't seem good. I still go for discouraging diamond and let partner choose.
