flytoox
I will pass. Pd doesnt have h stacks and neither he has spade.
scoob
i see nothing gained here by reopening best case scenario, partner bids 2♦ and opps compete to 2♥ worst case, i push opps into 1 or 2 NT, or a 9card 2♠ - none of which i'm not wild about defending
Gerben47
Pass. Lack of HCPLength and strength in opponent's suitA big danger in an unbid major Why are you considering double with a spade void?

pclayton
Pass AND happy. Their lack of an intelligent overcall method has buried their spade fit. Awwwwwww.
Fluffy
seems very few are afraid of a psych :-/, I actually thoug if it having a potetial high risk, I had to ask myself is there was any plausible hand where nobody was bidding over 1♥ and west didn´t had at least 5 spades (in wich case he is favorite for being psyching). EricK
I Pass, of course. The other replies have said it all. Eric
the hog
Pass. Pd has denied 4+S and a 6+ count.

Possible I suppose; but RHO isn't in on the joke either and passed as well. Far more likely is that the hands look like this: [hv=n=sqxxxhxxdjxxxcjxx&w=sajxxhakxxxxdkqxc&e=sktxxxhxdxckxxxxx&s=shqjtxdaxxxxcaqxx]399|300|[/hv] West doesn't want to double 1♦ for lack of a single club. North has a clear pass of 1♥, and East doesn't want to make forcing spade call on the 5-6.
luke warm
i think your lho has spades and hearts, 5=6 maybe, and a strong hand... he's gonna reverse and show spades if he has a chance.. passing seems like a good idea to me in phil's example hand, i strongly disagree with east passing... his hand semms to have good playing strength (barring a very possible misfit), so i'd bid 1S with it
daswallow
Pass for me. Someone has spades and it isn't us or pd. Maybe 1h is a psyche but I'm not prepared to re-open on the chance, they almost certainly have a spade fit anyway.

luke warm
i don't agree with your pard's pass, but i still don't see how you'd get to game
the hog
Was your partner called away to the phone during the auction and had the wine waiter "bid" his hand. I suggest this "partner" needs the sack. Surely a sensible auction is that you should end in 2/3 Ds.
Fluffy
Hehe I was kinda impressed since tthe real hand was nearly exactly as Phil suggested :-). How do you do to print all the tricks Ben?, I´ve always had to do it manually but seems there is a better method.
inquiry
How do you do to print all the tricks Ben?, I´ve always had to do it manually but seems there is a better method. You just have to go get Cascade's wonderful Linconverter.exe, it has superduper features for printing here, and also text for your own records too.... http://www.ebridgenz.com/download.html Another trick I use is I copy data I want to excel, remove thisngs I don;t want (perhaps players names), convert the "table" to "text" by addiing tabs, and I replace the tabs with mulitple copies of the following (except no spaces) & # 1 6 0 ; Ben
