qwyz
W is dealer and passed.P N opened 1♠ holding ♠AQ965 ♥A10 ♦Q10 ♣10964. E passes. S is holding: ♠K3 ♥Q3 ♦AK94 ♣AKQ53 and bids 2♣ with visions of slam. But then W bids Un2NT showing D and H..N passes and E bids 3H What should S then bid? (S did bid 3♠ thinking that was a stronger bid and would keep the bidding open wanting to hear more from N...but N passed. Ended up in 3 making 5) Thanks
TWO4BRIDGE
With 4 cards ♣ support, it looks like North has an easy 3C ( rather than passing ) over the Un2NT.
neilkaz
North is at fault here. He should raise to 3♣ and also one would think that the free bid of 3♠ after making a 2/1 would be forcing but anyhow I play 2/1 GF.

Bbradley62
I agree that North seems to have a clear 3♣ bid over 2N, but I have some questions about your system with regard to potential bids by South... It appears that you are not playing 2/1GF. Might South have bid 2♣ then 3♠ holding ♠Kx, ♥Qxx, ♦Kxxx, ♣Kxxx, or some game-invitational hand that is not too far from that? Would an immediate 3♣ bid from South have been weak or strong? What would 4♦ have been over 3♥?
