Onedown Posted September 30, 2011 Report Share Posted September 30, 2011 I can use the windows version but cannot sign into the web based version...tells me when trying to connect, "connection lost"...I have taken the firewall off and cleaned cache... Browser: Google Chrome. I've tried other browsers, but I can't install Adobe Flash Player (no administrative privileges on the computer). Can't install older version either.When I write my login name and password, it says: "connecting... please wait", then it says "connection lost".I've tried everything: allowing pop-ups, tagging bridgebase.com as allowed program, cleared the cache etc. The message is the same every time: "connection lost".Can anybody give me a hint? Antrax Posted November 1, 2011 Report Share Posted November 1, 2011 No. If you're interested, it should be fairly simple (on Windows netstat -an while BBO client is running) to find out which port you need opened (or just ask BBO), and then ask your workplace to open it. And asking the network admin to open something for me to be able to play (while at work) is simply out of the question :)...Seems I won't play bridge at work.
