Flame
Sometimes the opponents leave the table after in the middle of a play, and its ovious that no one will want to continue the hand for them, most ppl (including me) will claim something, usually all tricks, because we dont know how many tricks to claim and want to see the all hand. This result in a freaky score, which effects the results on the other tables.I suggest you make it imposible to claim like that, the right way is to give avg+ for the player who claimed when his opponents arent present. There is a little flaw in this , because ppl tend to leave when they have a disaster score waiting for them, and maybe avg+ wouldnt be always right, but i think its the best option and better then it is today. 1eyedjack
An alternative might be to enable (at table host discretion, on positive input) the disclosure of all cards when a player leaves. Then he can enter an intelligent claim that would be accepted by default (perhaps at the option of rejection by other seated players). Provided that the claimant acts honestly this should lead to a fairer result than Ave+. If we are not going to trust them to act honestly we might as well give up and go home. Oh, I am home.
