Fluffy
I open 3♥ vulnerable second position is good enough. Partner sees anywhere from 6 to 2 losers in 4♥, but given the vulnerability its fair that he raises to 4, passing is gambling too much. At IMPs he might rather play 5♣, but it could go down if partner has 2 diamonds when 4♥ might make. Its close. In my methods: 3♥-3♠ (shortess asking)4♦-5♣
Zelandakh
Open 1H - too good for the crap I preempt on nv. 1H = 10-17... - 1S = INV+ relay1N = min, 0-3 hearts... - 2C = GF relay2H = 6+ hearts, 1-suited... - 2S = relay2N = 6-7 hearts, 3 spades... - 3C = relay3N = 3712... - 4C = relay4H = 2 controls... - 4S = relay5C = heart control, no spade control I do not think the slam is worth bidding at teams given the information we have about partner's hand. Note that if openers clubs are 43 rather than 97, you can't make 5♣ on a trump lead but 4♥ is still OK. We bid 1♥-3♣-4♥-5♣ and unsurprisingly they led a diamond so I made 6 for -11 IMPs as they bid 6 at the other table.
Fluffy
Now that I think of it, 4♦ guarantess that partner's hearts are very good since he can't havepoints anywhere else!. This makes 4♥ perhaps better, so just not asking its fine. To reach slam its very simple with the other possible opening: 1♥-2♣-2♥-4♣-4♦. If partner decides to rebid 4♥ instead of 2 oh well... the_clown
1♥ (11-15)- 2♣ (4+ GF)2♥-3♣3♥-4♣4♦ cuebid aggreing ♣-4NT5♣-5NT(1 key missing, 6♣ would be invitational)6♣ It is possible that opener rebids 4♥ after 3♣ and then responder will probably sing off in 5♣. Alternativ responder can bid 4♣ over 2♥, RKCB, intending to ask for the ♦K below 5♣. This loses when opener has ♦singleton.
